Who We Are
Oyako is Japanese for parent (親) and child (子). Originally the brainchild of Lisa Samalin and her son Joe Samalin in 2019, starting with the addition of family friend Eddie O’Donnell - a gifted woodworker - made Oyako an up-and-coming powerhouse of craft and design, function and fun, and led to further collaborations with local makers.
